      Compare and analyse proposals

        Article summary

Comparing between two quotes that offer exactly the same elements is easy (by total price), but how can you compare two quotes that are similar yet not the same?
The ConWize system offers a smart tool that allows you to plant virtual prices on elements that one sub-contractor didn't price up and the other did.

Once you have at least two proposals (at least one of which isn't full), you can choose what price to virtually plant. Go to your specific work and open it.

If your work is long and includes numerous levels and rows, use the smart filters to find a certain row etc.:

To use the ConWize comparing tool, firstly, you are required to decide how to add the virtual price (either by minimum, maximum, average or specific cost from a different proposal):

Now you will have three main columns, one for each contractor (Brown Ltd and Boris Ltd) and another for the comparison you chose above (minimum).

Notice that the contractor Brown Ltd didn't price all the rows requested, therefore the ConWize system planted the minimum price (as chosen) in green.

In order to save the changes and get a full comparison press image.png the planted price will turn yellow so that in the future you will know that it is a virtually planted price.

Now you are able to compare the two quotes with ease (total) and make a smart calculated decision.
Don't worry, if you wish to see the original Brown Ltd proposal it will still be on your main work page without any planted prices. Note that it will have an icon image.png next to the final sum to show you that the proposal isn't complete.

Please note that you are able to add columns for advanced analytics of the data, press
